This Is What I Do
Daily feelings of overwhelm keep Christian women stuck, depleted, discouraged, distracted and disconnected from God’s purpose for their personal lives. I designed the Overwhelm Unplugged coaching program to help the Christian women combat feelings of overwhelm and thrive. This program incorporates more than 20 years of my clinical experience in palliative medicine, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, leadership, ministry, and volunteerism.
It starts by us working together to evaluate the sources of overwhelm in your life. In the mental prong of the program we will unpack the full extent of the difficult emotions you are dealing with, unmask your “why” to understand what drives you, and rethink the balance between all the different visible and invisible hats you juggle so you can use your time in ways that serve your needs and preferences.
In the spiritual prong we will evaluate where your true north lies so we identify the part of you that provides direction based on your passion and reset accordingly. Secondly,
we develop daily power practices to help you refocus and be more present. Next, we reframe your thoughts and perspective so you can set achievable goals and start moving your body to create vital energy that will help you take action and feel better. In the last part of this prong, we use visualization techniques to plan your deepest yearning or dream to refresh your outlook on work and life.
In the physical prong, you will gain the knowledge and tools needed to understand the importance of taking care of your body despite being busy with your home and work responsibilities. We start with a strong focus on daily moving your body through an individualized plan, then evaluate your nutrition to move towards healthier consumption, and then we look at how you maintain your health long term through all the curve balls that will be thrown at you in your professional and personal life. By the end of this program, you will be equipped with a customized, sustainable plan that you can use daily to thrive in the midst of life’s storms.

When you sign up for one-on-one coaching, we will agree on a time for a one-hour call to discuss and understand the demands you face in your work and personal life and define how we could work together to shift you out of reacting to everything that isn’t serving you to responding with intention and purpose. Having experienced the hospice and palliative care field for 2 decades myself, I will hold a safe and confidential space for you through planned one-on-one sessions to address the obstacles you are facing and the emotional impact they have on your well-being. My goal will be to help you get to the root of your concerns, understand that you can change for the better, and coach you to implement change so you can be happier and healthier.
